Hello, welcome home! The “Cinéma des Galeries Aylmer” is an independent movie theatre where the owners live and are active members of the Aylmer community. Open since December 11th 1999, the Cinéma des Galeries Aylmer has always offered a diverse program of Hollywood, Quebec and international films.

We put a lot of emphasis on team work, close relationship with our customers and providing a welcoming and intimate atmosphere. The Cinema also stands out for its dynamism and sense of innovation. We are the only movie theatre in the region to offer as many different services in one place.

As an entertainment center, you can also find in addition to the movie theatre :

Visiting our cinema not as a puzzle, it's just simple and natural. Faced with a garden of exotic plants, you are invited to sit down and meet with your friends, have a cappuccino while reading a book or magazine before your entry into the theatre. Everything is done to make sure that you will enjoy your moments in the company of your family or best friends.

For many people, we are not a huge theatre. In fact, we are a good size movie theatre where we care about our work, our clients and our community! Technical Data Sheet

The "Cinéma des Galeries Aylmer" is composed of four rooms: three rooms of 150 seats and a room of 260 seats. All facilities are well equipped with Dolby Digital equipments and suited with a marriage of high quality QSC amplifiers and well-known reputed EV (Electro Voice) loudspeakers. This premium assembly provides a unique acoustic in each of our 4 rooms.

Our rooms are built on the optimal cinema configuration model: "Square." This means that each viewer will get the optimal sound spectrum and an incomparable panoramic view. This distinguishes to «rectangular» room configuration that has the disadvantage of being non-intimate, noisy, positioning the audience away from the action and very unequal sound spectrum.

The first three rooms are equipped with 34 foot screens. Each row does not exceed 16 seats wide which ensure your privacy. Our 4th room has a 48 foot screen and provides seating for 260 people divided in two sections, plus a VIP suite. All seats are perpendicular to the screen which always guarantees a proper viewing.

As for a play or a concert, quality equipments are the key success and this is what you will find to our theatre. The movie industry is our business and we do our best to make sure you will get the best of it!
